SED Balochistan SST Jobs 2026 – Adhoc Recruitment in 17 Districts

The School Education Department, Government of Balochistan, has announced vacancies for Secondary School Teachers (SSTs) on an adhoc basis. The notification was issued from Quetta on 18 September 2026 under the Adhoc Teaching Staff Recruitment Policy, 2026. It covers 17 districts, and each district has its own advertisement with its own number of posts.

This is a good opportunity for local domicile holders of Balochistan who have a science, mathematics or English degree and want a teaching job in their own district. Local/domicile candidates of District Chagai are invited to apply for teaching science, mathematics and English in Government Boys/Girls Middle, High and Higher Secondary Schools.

All degrees must be from a recognized university.

Subject Substitution Rules

•If no Mathematics graduate is available for a Mathematics post, a BS/MSc Physics candidate can be considered, and vice versa, within the same Union Council. The relevant subject still gets preference.

•The same applies to Chemistry and Biology.

Eligibility Criteria

•You must hold the required qualification for the post you apply for.

•Only local/domicile holders of District Chagai can apply.

•Maximum age is 55 years.

•Government employees must apply through their own department (proper channel).

•Appointments will be made strictly under the Adhoc Teaching Staff Recruitment Policy, 2026.

Important Conditions

•Only the posts advertised for each district will be filled. No changes will be made later.

•School-wise vacancy details, plus lists by Municipal Corporation, Municipal Committee and Union Council, are available on the portal.

•Merit lists for urban areas will follow Metropolitan, Municipal Corporation and Municipal Committee limits. Rural areas will have Union Council-wise merit lists.

•Separate district-level merit lists will be prepared for persons with disabilities and for the minority quota. Disabled candidates must attach a certificate issued by the Social Welfare Department.

•Any conflicting law or policy will not apply to this recruitment.
