PEEF Scholarship For Balochistan 2024

Punjab Education Endowment Fund PEEF announces scholarships for talented and deserving students of Balochistan for session 2023. The PEEF Balochistan scholarship is for students of Intermediate, graduation, and Masters students. Students who have passed Matric, Inter, or Graduation exams in 2022 are eligible to apply. The last date to submit an application for PEEF Balochistan Scholarships is Extended till December 10, 2023.

Applications for PEEF Balochistan Scholarships will be received by the Balochistan Education Endowment Fund. The application form is available at the BEEF website and can be submitted to the BEEF office by post latest by December 10, 2023 (Date Now Extended). Applications received after the due date will not be entertained.

Technical Education Scholarships for Students Of Balochistan

The PEEF has allocated 30 scholarships for district toppers of DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering) to pursue Graduation level education in institutions of Balochistan and/or Punjab.

Eligibility criteria for Technical Education Scholarships

The student must have:

  • Passed DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering) examination conducted by BISE Quetta in annual
  • Secured at least 60% marks in the above mentioned examination
  • Secured admission in a regular educational institution as a full time student in the same year as of passing the examination
    • The prospective student may get enrolled in undergraduate/ diploma /certification programme in Balochistan OR
    • Scholarships may also be awarded to the students of Balochistan who are enrolled in TEVTA/ Punjab administered institutions in undergraduate/ diploma /certification program
  • Declared monthly income of parents (from all sources) is equal to or less than Rs. 60,000/-
  • Not availing any other educational scholarship during the current academic year

Note

  • The Children of government employees of BPS 1 – 4 are exempted from income limit criteria if salary is the only source of income.
  • Children of civilians martyred in terrorist attacks are also exempted from the monthly income limit of Rs. 35,000/-

Master’s Level Scholarships for Student of Balochistan Province

The PEEF has allocated 30 scholarships for Master’s level education for students studying in Public Sector Universities of Balochistan. In order to be eligible for PEEF scholarships; a student must have:

  • Balochistan domicile
  • Secured at least 60% marks or a minimum CGPA 2.5 in BA/ B.Sc./ B.COM/ BS/ BBA etc. in annual examination held in last three years of announcing the scholarship
  • Secured admission as a full time student in the current academic / degree year as of announcing the scholarship in a Public Sector University of Balochistan.
  • Declared monthly income of parents (from all sources) is equal to or less than Rs. 60,000/-
  • Not availing any other scholarship for Master’s level studies.
  • The prospective student, besides fulfilling PEEF eligibility criteria, must qualify the merit and need criteria of the respective University.
  • For Special Quota Scholarships, the student must fall in at least one of the S.Q categories:
    • Orphan Children
    • Children of government servants in BPS 1 – 4
    • Children belonging to minority religion
    • Special Children
    • Children of civilians martyred in terrorist’s attacks

Note

  • The children of government employees of BPS 1 – 4 are exempted from income limit criteria if salary is the only source of income.
  • Children of civilians martyred in terrorist attacks are also exempted from the monthly income limit of Rs. 60,000/- for Masters level education

Following students are not eligible for PEEF Master’s level scholarship:

  • Students who have already passed / got MA / MSc / MS / MPhil etc. degree.
  • Marks improvers or students who have passed examination in supplementary session.
  • Students who have passed the aforementioned examination with grace marks (*).
  • Availing any other educational scholarship during the current academic year.
  • Beneficiary of Prime Minister Fee / any other fee reimbursement scheme / program.

Master Level Scholarships

The PEEF allocated  annual scholarship quota for Master’s Level Education. These scholarships are awarded to talented and deserving students enrolled in partner universities. The minimum eligibility criteria for consideration of PEEF Master’s level scholarship is given below:

Eligibility Criteria

The students must have:

  • Punjab domicile
  • Secured at least 60% marks or a minimum CGPA 2.5 in BA/ BSc/ BCOM/ BS/ BBA etc. in annual examination held in last three years in Punjab.
    • Secured admission as a fulltime student in the current academic year in a partner university
      • Students enrolled in spring/fall session (where applicable) and morning/ afternoon / evening sessions (where applicable) are also eligible to apply for PEEF Master’s scholarships.
  • Declared monthly income of parents (from all sources) is equal to or less than PKR. 60,000/-
    • Children of Government employees in BPS 1-4 are exempted from the condition of income, if salary is only source of income.
    • Children of civilians martyred in terrorist attacks are also exempted from the condition of income limit
  • Besides fulfilling PEEF eligibility criteria, the prospective student must qualify the merit and need criteria of the respective university.
Note

Following students are not eligible for PEEF Master’s level scholarship:

  •  Students who have already passed / got MA / MSc / MS / MPhil etc. degree
  •  Marks improvers or students who have passed examination in supplementary session
  •  Students who have passed the aforementioned examination with grace marks (*)
  •  Availing any other educational scholarship during the current academic year
  •   Beneficiary of Prime Minister Fee / any other fee reimbursement scheme / program

How to Apply

  • The PEEF has allocated scholarship quotas to all the partner universities. The responsibility of advertisement/intimation, shortlisting & selection of students rests with the university.
  • Prospective students may download the scholarship application form from PEEF website and submit the duly filled scholarship application form to respective university. The scholarship application forms can also be requested from the financial aid office of the respective university.
  • Scholarship application forms can only be submitted to designated university offices. Forms send directly to PEEF shall not be entertained.

Disbursement of Scholarship Stipends

  • The PEEF scholarship stipends are disbursed on biannual basis
  • The next scholarship installment is released after the receipt of acknowledgement of the previous scholarship stipend and submission of satisfactory academic performance and scholar assessment report by the university / degree awarding institution.

Duration of the Scholarships

  • The PEEF scholarships are awarded till the completion of the degree course the student is enrolled in. However, if the student fails to maintain the required / satisfactory academic performance level, or is involved in any disciplinary act; the University/ or the PEEF, reserve the right to cancel the scholarship.
